How do you convey to someone that you’re a good person? Do you come right out and say, “Hey, I’m a good person?” Of course not. That would be just silly. Here in Missouri we are known as the “show me” state. You can’t just say you’re something you have to show it. How many times do we hold ourselves back because we don’t want to seem arrogant?
Showing the world your talents isn’t showing off, it’s sharing yourself. If you can change the way you view your interactions with others as a mutual sharing, as opposed to a give and take, it will completely change the mood.
Our lives are meant to be shared, our gifts and talents are meant to be used, and our “us” is meant for greatness. So, for this moment, imagine yourself completely sharing your gifts without fear of others mocking you, or judging you, or thinking you’re arrogant. How does it feel? Are you happy? Sometimes we just need to push past the fog of fear to get to the clear reality of the awesomeness of life.
Be yourself. Challenge yourself to find your skills and passions. Share those with the world, and the world WILL respond. It can be scary to share yourself, but you’re not alone. We all struggle with something, and we can all help each other accomplish great things. Go. Share yourself, your gifts and your talents today. Boom!
If you need help finding motivation, staying motivated, or believing in yourself, let me know. Sometimes a kind word is all it takes to ignite a dream to become a reality.
Let me know.
Don’t give up.
